Batard Tronique – Bazar Chronic (2015)

  • Breakcore
  • Jungle
  • Electronic music
  • Drill`n`bass
  • Breaks
  • Mashup
  • Hip-hop
  • Sampledelic
  • Rockabilly
  • Sound collage
  • Freeformfreakout
  • Deconstructed pop
  • Ethnotronica
  • Chopped and screwed

Johnny Kalash`i esteetika on dekonstrueerida ja kokku sulatada – kõikvõimalikes kombinatsioonides. Sigitise on üllitanud Coma Recordz.

Futant – Cyberpunk (2017)

  • Electronic music
  • Experimental electronica
  • Alternative
  • Minimal synth

Comment: I have listened to this 5-notch outing for many times and the more I listen to it the more it seems to be a mirror of the Sisyphos myth who is rolling the stone upward the hill. And then it starts off again and again from scratch. More profoundly, distorted beats, algorithmic electronic progressions and chopped-up rhythms do trudge across a line being backed up by the atmospheric layers. Is it an example of sophisticated primitive music? For sure, it is an opposite movement with regard to a polished and sterile studio production instance. At Procedure Complete it is going to progress into a minimal synth instance. In a word, you could find out democracy from this music you are not able to find it anymore from the most other areas in Western hemisphere. There is the right opinion, there is the wrong opinion. Most information around you used to have a superficial and propagandist value. The release is a part of the discography of cOmaRecOrdz.

KFC Murder Chicks – Golden Age Of Cross Mystery (2014)

  • Ambient
  • Breakcore
  • Avant-electro
  • Industrial hip-hop
  • Noise-electro
  • Avant-hop
  • Experimental hip-hop
  • Bhangra
  • Electro-clash

Comment: As the artist`s name suggests music oozing out from this 5-track release must be frenzied and noisy. It might be even thoroughly frenzied and noisy. Indeed, it is true, it is downrightly true because all of that used to rely on squelching yet exquisitely craved bass thumping which works out like the black hole by those three chicks named as Stella, Beatrice, and Stephanie. Stylistically it is hopelessly puzzling to categorize it because of loaning influences from different places and slots. Furthermore, as a result it is an example of sophisticated and elaborated synthesis where one could discern to be somehow familiar with and on the other side all of that seems to be fairly new to refresh and inspire your mind and soul, respectively. As a result, it is both exploratory and entertaining, being at times funny and amusing, being at times elegantly aggressive and violent. Maybe it is a sort of hip-hop, maybe it is a stoned version of bhangra. Is it a glowering version of electro-clash at the time the electro-clash as a style is already dead? It might be. Those bold and rough clusters of electro-hop rhythms, some high-pitched vignettes and fast lyrics reciting constitute the quintessence of the outing. However, the only exception is Making Up For That where the artist enters into the sinister realm of dark ambient music which is a plateau for elusive ghosts and ominous apparitions. Indeed, by listening to the track it makes me to startle about how the trio in liaison with their producer DJ Rozwell could be so versatile to be able to drift between different genres in such organic way. All in all, it could be admitted to be an outstanding poltergeist induced issue. Thank you, KFC Murder Chicks, thank you, cOmaRecOrdz!

Ickymack - Duck Fucking Blunted EP (2015)

  • Hip-hop
  • Vaporwave
  • Avant-hop
  • Leftfield
  • Experimental hip-hop
  • Noise-hop
  • Rap

Comment: oh yeah, such sort of hip-hop music represented by Ickymack cannot be without but to be adored. It is deployed to be far away from sleazy gangsta rap and design rap instances and instead of it running partly in the vein of Sacramento-based combo the Death Grips` aesthetic which has not influenced hip-hop artists only (many famous pop artists have noticed it as quality and an influence – David Bowie, Björk, for instance). In fact, to chant about your shitty life while frequently earning a million of bucks and exploiting mind-numbing backdrops is not a proper case, isn`t? Indeed, these at times obsessive lyrics are chanted in a deranged way being backed up the rhythms at a hectic pace and mind-blowing templates which consist of poignant alarm-alike signals and affecting synth layers. By listening to it one could perceive tendencies of impending doom because those apocalyptic, religious elements performed madly and prophetically used to surface especially in such tracks as All It Is (Ft. DBoy Da Villian), and Sorban. The first mentioned composition, and Duck Hunting do exploit slowed-down vocal accents being so characteristic to witch house/vaporwave/drag house music. On the whole, the issue is impressive and spellbinding due to the masterful sway between mundane and celestial aspects, between straightforward and sophisticated expressions. The issue is a part of the discography of cOmaRecOrdz which seems to be a sumptuous source for the agitated music.
